One of his most talented students was Guillaume Lekeu, whose compositions show Franck's influence through rich harmonic language, expansive melodies, and expressive polyphony. Marcel Dupré, who was a famous organ virtuoso like Franck, studied with Louis Vierne, who was a student of Franck. This close musical connection forms a perfect stylistic dramaturgy and is reflected in an extraordinary musical sonority and virtuosity.
