A Farewell to Kings is the fifth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released on September 1, 1977 by Anthem Records in Canada and by Mercury Records in the United States. A Farewell to Kings would eventually become Rush's first US gold-selling album, receiving the certification within two months of it's release, and was eventually certified platinum.
